Tom Gates 5: Tom Gates is great [at some things]

Liz Pichon

Tom Gates wants to prove that he is genuinely excellent at certain thingsظ€¤although his definition of talent differs from his teachersظ€آ. He excels at doodling, inventing ways around boring work, and thinking about his band DogZombies, while homework, school rules, Marcus, and his grumpy sister Delia constantly interfere. Told through lists, drawings, and jokes, the book follows Tomظ€آs attempt to turn his unusual skills into something that counts as success.
