Memoirs of a Chalman Kid (Strike the Last String, #11)
Jeff Kinney
Greg is tired of his father calling him a quitter and his mother worrying that screens are ruining his creativity. He decides to prove them wrong by making a horror movie that could also make him famous. Rowley becomes his actor and partner, while homemade props and gummy worms substitute for real special effects. Predictably, the gap between Gregظآs Hollywood ambitions and the reality of low-budget filmmaking creates a chain of disasters.
