Mr. and Mrs. Twit are filthy, cruel people who enjoy nasty practical jokes and tormenting animals. They trap birds for pies and force the caged Muggle-Wump monkeys to spend hours standing upside down. Eventually the animals have had enough. With help from the birds, the monkeys devise a plan to escape and turn the Twitsظآ own love of tricks against them, creating a darkly comic revenge story in which the bullies finally become the victims of a trick.
